New Graduate Healthcare Options for 2010-2011
Healthcare plans through the NAGPS
The GPSO is now a member of the NAGPS (National Association of Graduate and Professional Students). By becoming a member, all IU graduate and professional students now have the option to enroll in a healthcare plan available through the NAGPS. These plans are offered as an alternative to the plans offered through IU Human Resources. Careful consideration of each plan and your individual circumstatances should be taken when choosing the best healthplan for you.
Feedback from other students about the NAGPS plan, as well as the other IU healthcare plans, can be found on the GPSO healthcare forum. Feel free to post your comments, questions and concerns, and check out what other students are saying about the healthcare options at IU: GPSO Forums
There are two health plan options, a High Option Plan and a Low Option Plan. Complete information on both healthcare plans can be found on the NAGPS website (2010-11 data TBA): Health Plan Information. Highlights of each plan are provided in the next section.
