The Media School
Hello! I’m Joshua Sites. I’ve been at IU since 2013 when I started my masters in Telecommunications. Now, I’m working on my PhD in The Media School. I completed my undergrad in 2009 from Middle Tennessee State University in REcording Production & Technology. I then worked full time in the audio industry for 3 years before changing career paths and made my way back to what truly interested me: research and teaching. I have been active in various forms of student governance more or less continuously through my academic life, and have served at various capacities. I love IU, Bloomington, and the grad student life but I also understand that they can be more inclusive and accommodating. GPSG is a great means to have access to faculty and administration so that I can function as a liaison for other graduate students.
