Greetings Hoosiers!

My name is Atul Mohan and I am a second year Computer Science graduate student at the School of Informatics and Computing. After completing my undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering at an engineering college in India, I worked as an Applications Engineer with a leading software company for more than 3 years. Over the course of my undergraduate studies, I had served in multiple student committees focused on conducting technical symposiums as well as organizing programming workshops for high school students. During my first year at IU, I had assisted in conducting multiple technical workshops for Informatics, Computer Science and Library Science graduate students, in my capacity as Secretary for the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) organization. As an assembly representative at GPSG, I serve on the Diversity committee, supporting diversity initiatives and organizations on campus. I am always open to suggestions and feedback and I would fully support any initiatives that would unite and improve the graduate student community at IU as a whole.
