IU Media School Approval

The IU Board of Trustees recently approved the creation of the new Media School, merging the School of Journalism and departments of communication and culture and telecommunications.

Read the IDS article, quoting GPSO President Brady Harman.

This institutional change will have a profound impact on both undergraduates and graduates pursuing degrees related to journalism, communication, and telecommunication.  GPSO has an informational site compiling all of the information available to us, and we are encouraging as much student feedback as possible.

The University will be forming a Student Advisory Committee, and we will share information about involvement as soon as we can.
