Fellow Hoosiers,

My name is Sam Luebbe, I am in the second semester of the Master of Science in Information Systems program in the Kelley School of Business.  This is my fifth year on IU’s campus, but my first studying business.  Before enrolling in this program, I earned an undergraduate degree in Biology, while earning minors in Chemistry, Psychology and Spanish.  As an undergraduate, I served as Indiana University Dance Marathon’s president while the organization celebrated its 25th anniversary of existence.  I currently reside at Sigma Chi Fraternity, where I serve as the chapter’s graduate advisor and thus I have a close relationship with student organization culture and experiences.  I am a member of the Health & Wellness Committee as a part of my role with IU’s GPSG.  I will enroll in the IU School of Medicine following my graduation from the MSIS program and one of my primary interests is in the application of interdisciplinary teams in medicine, which is why I find the IU GPSG’s Health & Wellness Committee to hold immense value.  The committee is effective by enabling students from different programs and backgrounds to collaborate and strive to overcome barriers to a healthier graduate program experience for students from all departments.  I look forward to representing my classmates through this involvement and hope to embody their positive spirit and caring nature through my contributions.
