Committee For Fee Review- Call Out (1/20/2017)

Hello Hoosiers!

Each semester you are enrolled at IU, you are charged mandatory fees other than tuition. These fees fund the health center, campus busses, student government, and other IU services and initiatives. At the end of this semester, the Committee for Fee Review will submit recommendations to the campus administration and the Board of Trustees regarding the distribution of these mandatory student fees for the coming two academic years.

The Committee is co-chaired by myself—President of the Graduate and Professional Student Government and Sara Zaheer—President of the IU Student Association. We are looking for 9 students to join us in reviewing the allocation of the mandatory fees paid by students on the Bloomington campus.

As these fees are mandatory for all students, the Committee for Fee Review strives to include students with a wide variety of personal backgrounds, academic programs, and campus experience. Therefore, whether you have only stepped in a couple buildings on campus or are president of your program’s student association, please consider applying!

Students interested in serving on the Committee can obtain applications at http://go.iu.edu/i1p. The application deadline is Monday, January 30th. Additional questions about the process should be directed to Carol McCord, Associate Dean of Students, Bloomington, at camccord@indiana.edu or (812) 855-8187.

 Have a great weekend!

 Best,

Adam Reneker
