Receiving the GPSG Travel Award to fund my travel to Boston allowed me to perform in what has been one of the most exciting concerts of new music of my performance career thus far! The concert, which presented all works by female composers and poets, included seven premieres. The audiences were beyond enthused to hear such a wide variety of musical styles and such a high quality of music making, and overall, we raised almost $2,000 for the hosting organization including donations from almost 70 first time donors! It was truly a wonderful experience to be a part of.
